Plan for Regular Updates & Support

Errors & Redirects

Broken links and incorrect URLs can cause annoying error messages that send customers running to your competitors.

Security Gaps

Themes and Plugins that are not regularly updated can create entry points for malware and hackers to wreak havoc on your website.

Incompatible Versions

Updates can sometimes cause conflicts with a website's existing code, plugins, or themes, causing minor problems or even full-site failure.

Slow Upload Speed

People will only wait a second or two for a page to load before clicking to something else, meaning a slow site can cost you conversions and sales, as well as SEO ranking.

Frequently Asked Questions

My maintenance plan includes hosting on a secure server, all WordPress/theme/plugin updates, backups, performance monitoring, and security checks. It also includes up to 1 hour/month of content updates (when you provide text or images).

You do! The website is your property. My role is to host, maintain, and update it. If you ever decide to move to another host or developer, you’re free to take your site with you.

Yes. You have an Admin login for your WordPress site. This means you can log in anytime to make changes, check analytics, or see the updates I’ve made. If you’ve misplaced your login details, just email me and I’ll resend them.

Yes! Unused update time rolls over, up to a maximum of 3 hours. This way, if you don’t need updates one month, you can use the saved time later for larger changes.

Basic hosting packages from large providers range from €5–35/month. However, they do not include updates, backups, monitoring, or support. Those responsibilities fall on you.

Possibly in the short term, but bare hosting leaves you responsible for updates, backups, and troubleshooting. If something breaks or gets hacked, fixing it can cost far more than what you save. That’s why many clients prefer the all-in-one maintenance plan.

That’s always an option. You’ll manage hosting, backups, and updates on your own. If you’d still like me to help, I offer a quarterly maintenance session (2 hours minimum) billed at €30/hour for website design clients.

If you’re on my hosting + maintenance plan, I’ll be monitoring for issues and fixing them as part of the service. If you’re on self-hosting, you’ll need to troubleshoot with your hosting provider or book me for support at my hourly rate.

No more monthly reports — instead, you’ll receive a quarterly email update with recommendations, plus a yearly meeting to review your site’s performance and goals.

Yes. You can always switch from self-hosting back to my hosting plan, or request quarterly-only maintenance if you move to your own hosting.

Extra updates beyond your included time are billed at my hourly rate.

Yes, if you’re on my hosting, sites are backed up weekly. If you host elsewhere, backup responsibility is on you (though I can recommend plugins or services).

Billing will be handled through Stripe. You’ll be able to choose between monthly or yearly payments, with automatic recurring billing.
